POLICIES

Committed to Giving You the Best Experience

At The Beauty Project, I hold a deep regard for each and every one of my valued clients, aspiring to create an environment where everyone feels at ease and appreciated. To ensure a positive experience for all, I have established fundamental policies. If you have any inquiries, please feel free to reach out.

Respect & Kindness Policy:

The Beauty Project is a space where every single person who walks through my door deserves to feel safe, welcomed, and respected. I am committed to maintaining an inclusive environment free from hatred, discrimination, and unkind speech of any kind. This means treating all people with dignity regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or background.

Hate speech, discriminatory remarks, or disrespectful behavior toward marginalized communities, or anyone in my salon, will not be tolerated under any circumstances. If you engage in this behavior, I will ask you to leave immediately and you will not be welcome back. Kindness is not optional here, it is required.

Thank you for helping me keep The Beauty Project a safe and loving space for all.

Children

For the comfort of my clientele and the space, I kindly request alternate care arrangements for children under the age of 12 without a scheduled reservation. Additionally, please be advised that only service animals are permitted within the salon premises.

Attire Guideline for Your Appointment

To enhance your experience and create ease of comfort, please avoid wearing collared shirts, sweatshirts with hoods, and turtlenecks. Please do not wear white to the salon!  Wearing clothes that are not your favorite is recommended as they may get hair or color on them. I am not responsible for damaged items and will not replace them.

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Deposit Policy:

Life can be unpredictable, and I understand that circumstances may necessitate adjustments to your scheduled appointments. I strive to accommodate changes with empathy and flexibility:

  • Any service totaling $200 or more requires a 50% deposit at the time of booking. This deposit will be applied toward the cost of your service at checkout.

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment incur no charges. For services $200 or more, your deposit will be returned.

  • For cancellations or rescheduling within the 48-hour window, a 50% charge of the missed service will be applied to your profile, payable before scheduling another appointment. For services $200 or more, the deposit will be retained.

  • Same-day cancellations (beginning at midnight of the appointment day) will be charged 100% of the booked service.

  • No call/no shows will result in a 100% charge of the missed service, payable before booking any subsequent appointments

Punctuality:

I adhere to a time and material pricing structure, emphasizing transparent communication. While I make every effort to communicate any delays promptly, your time is highly valued. Please reciprocate by arriving punctually for your appointments, preferably 5 minutes early.

  • If you are running late, please notify me promptly. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your appointment may be rescheduled or the service shortened, with charges based on the original start time.

  • Timely communication about lateness minimizes disruptions and ensures consideration for my other clients.

I appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a harmonious experience at The Beauty Project. Thank you for entrusting me with your beauty needs.

Sick Policy:

I am immunosuppressed, and it's crucial to me to prioritize my health and safety, as well as the wellbeing of my entire staff and all of my clients. I kindly request that if you are feeling unwell of ANY kind of illness, please refrain from visiting the salon to minimize any potential risks of transmission. Please contact me promptly and I will reschedule you. Your cooperation in this matter is deeply appreciated, as it helps me maintain a safe environment for everyone.

This is my only source of income, and these policies exist to protect my time and livelihood.
Thank you for respecting me and these policies.

Thank you!
