Jillian has been a hairstylist since 2013 and has never been more inspired, driven, and motivated to make a positive impact with her craft because she believes our humanity needs this now more than ever.
Jillian is a dynamic human with lots of creative ideas, dreams and the drive to make them come into existence. She loves working as a hairstylist because it is an opportunity to be creative, connect and build relationships with other human beings. Jillian doesn't take this lightly as it is sacred and special to be able to hold such trust.

Services NOT offered:
Chemical relaxers, keratin treatments or perms, bald (straight razor) fades, hair color, platinum blondes, vivids/fashion unicorn hair.
Kim Paulsen

Stylist | Co-owner
Kim is a multi-disciplinary artist, graphic designer, and hairstylist. After a 20 year career as a commercial artist, she decided to pursue a lifelong passion for doing hair, and became a licensed cosmetologist in 2019.
Using her art training and experience, she specializes in creating bespoke hair for each client. Her favorites are precision cuts, low maintenance styles, gray coverage and blending, and creative, customized color.
Kim uses eco-friendly and low-tox products to ensure healthy hair, people and planet. Her chair is a safe place - come as you are, all are welcome!

Bear Mariah

With 10+ years of being in the hair industry Bear has a passion and love for healthy hair. Long wear and protective styles are Bear's focus, from weekly slik presses and blow-outs to box braids and feed-ins. They also specialize in low maintenance haircutting and coloring.
For those who choose to break away from conformity and desire individuality and self expression Bear has more than enough experience with just that. Growing up in the local punk/goth scene they have colored, cut, shaved not only their own hair but their community's hair long before getting behind the chair professionally. Shocking neons and rich jewel tones are Bear’s favorites.
Karma has been living the dream, working as a hairstylist for the past 9 years. She has a passion for creating effortless, cool hairstyles, whether it's carving shags, bobs, or any type of fringe with her shears. Certified in fusion and hand-tied extensions, she utilizes these techniques not only for adding length but also for fullness or a pop of vivid color without the commitment. Her commitment to ongoing education ensures she can meet her clients' desired styles while maintaining a safe and clean environment. Drawing inspiration from the vibrant vibes of both the west and east coasts, she finds creative fuel throughout Reno. Collaborating with fellow hairstylists reaffirms her love for the industry's evolution. Outside the salon, she indulges in her passions, whether it's spending time with her dog, Mr. Leo, enjoying local water holes, tackling the slopes during winters, or cycling in the warm weather with Mr. Leo tagging along.

Lacey, your friendly neighborhood hairstylist and hair magician extraordinaire! With a colorful background as a previous co-owner of Hollylocks’s children salon and family boutique, she's mastered the art of creating stunning styles for the whole family. From chic trims for mom to dapper 'dos for dad, adorable cuts for the little ones and colorful feed in braids, she's here to make every hair flip fabulous! But her passion goes beyond just hair – she thrives on creating inclusive experiences, serving clients on the spectrum with love and understanding. With her, it's not just about the cut; it's about the joy and confidence that comes with it. Let's sprinkle some magic on those locks and let your inner beauty shine brighter than ever before!
