The Beauty Project Foundation's Choose Your Own Rate Haircut Fundraiser is a community-powered ongoing event where you decide what to pay based on your own financial reality. Every dollar raised goes directly toward making professional hair services accessible to people experiencing financial hardship.
Haircuts are provided by Jillian Rose who believes beauty care is for everyone, not just those who can afford it. No judgment, no minimum, no ceiling.

Jillian Rose is a licensed cosmetologist, nonprofit founder, and community organizer based in Reno, Nevada. With over a decade in the beauty industry, she founded The Beauty Project Foundation in 2023 on a belief that is both simple and radical: professional hair care is not a luxury. It is a form of dignity.

As the owner of The Beauty Project Salon in Midtown Reno and president of the foundation, Jillian created the Choose Your Own Rate Haircut Fundraiser as a direct expression of that belief.
She believes everyone in the room should be able to access a quality haircut, at a rate that is honest for their life right now. Every dollar raised goes entirely to the foundation's mission of making beauty services accessible to all.
