Taking care of the planet is vital so we can continue to take care of our humanity.

We must not rely solely on recycling programs to take our waste.
We must be mindful about where we are choosing to buy products from.

GREEN CIRCLE SALONS

Green Circle is a certified B Corp that recycles up to 95% of salon waste. All waste besides glass, paper, and food waste at The Beauty Project is sent to Green Circle Salon, a carbon neutral company. This includes hair, excess hair color, color tubes and caps, and more!

PAPER NOT FOIL

Paper Not Foil is a sustainable foil alternative created by hairdressers for hairdressers.
It’s made from recycled construction waste (no trees), it causes no harm to our environment throughout its whole life cycle.
You can reuse Paper Not Foil many times by washing it in the washing machine or by hand. It can also be recycled or commercially composted.

EARTH BREEZE ECO LAUNDRY DETERGENT

We all know that 700 million plastic laundry jugs end up in our landfills and oceans every year!
The solution is to stop using plastic containers. All towels and capes are washed with Earth Breeze Eco Sheets.

RECYCLING

Any packaging and product containers that through the salon are recyclable are recycled.
*Plastic containers like developer bottles are sent to Green Circle Salons.

RECYCLED GLASSWARE

As for beverages at The Beauty Project, we have glassware made from recycled glass instead of using plastic and single use options.

SECOND HAND FURNITURE

From the salon chair, mirror, product shelves, station desk and stool 90% of the furniture in the salon studio was previously owned. This helps cut down on the demand for new things. Buying secondhand can be an exciting treasure hunt!

ECO HEADS
