We are accepting applications for Hair Stylist Positions!
Positions available:
- Full time booth rental at $700/ month:
Mondays - Saturdays
- 3 day/ week part time at $400/ month:
Mondays - Wednesdays OR Thursdays - Saturdays
- W2 Employee with scheduling flexibility:
Commission options with growth path
Scheduling Options:
We are open for clients Monday - Saturday 9am-7pm

Mission Statement
The Beauty Project Salon empowers individuals to embrace their truest, most beautiful selves by providing eco-friendly and gender and age inclusive hair services for all hair types and fostering a supportive community space in Midtown Reno, Nevada.
Through our skilled stylists, commitment to the earth and community, and our mindful approach to beauty, we challenge cultural norms and celebrate natural, unique self-expression. Our intention is to ensure that every client and team member experiences celebration of who they are, a sense of belonging and the confidence to express their true beauty. By daring to explore our own beauty we encourage others to do the same, changing the world one beauty service at a time.

We aim to become the top community center salon in our region, where we are the go to space for individuals to explore their truest, most beautiful selves, challenge cultural beauty norms through classes and workshops, and our intention is to foster a more loving, empowering, and approachable beauty industry.

We reach out via email to you to say hello! This is a chance to learn more about each other, answer any of your initial questions and see if our goals align. If it feels like a potential match we will set up an in person interview.

You will meet with our leadership team for a salon tour and relaxed interview over coffee. We will get to know each other and explore what working with us could look like for you.
Come spend a couple hours with us! You'll observe the team with clients to get a real sense of how the salon flows and what it's like to be a part of the team.
If it's a mutual match, we will extend an offer and walk you through our onboarding process. From there, we will set you up with everything you need to start strong.
